What motor oil should I use in a rebuilt engine with 59000 miles?
Should I use a sae5w30 motor oil or a 10w30 on a rebuilt engine with 59000 miles? MY ODOMETER SAYS IT HAS 177000

If it doesn’t use oil.
install 5W30 in cold weather and 10W30 in warm.
If is smoking or using oil I would try the 20W40.
That is what my owners manual recommended for my 1988 Dodge Caravan and several other cars I have owned.
use whatever oil the car says that you need to use…..i am guessing you are talking about your caravan..lol…
If you experience winter temperatures, use 5w-30 year round. If you don’t experience winter temperatures, it probably doesn’t make a difference. I always run 5w-30, and have been doing it for many, many years.
