My CBR1000F is due for an oil change, so I’m wondering what the best synthetic oil is to use? Now I’m running Castrol R4 Superbike, and that seems to be working fine. I’m also running that in my 450R quad, and it’s worked well. I’ve also heard many good things about that oil. I’m just wondering if there’s anything better to use? I do want to use full synthetic, and I paid about per quart or liter or what ever for that, and don’t really want to spend much more than that!

VW recommends I use castrol 5w-40 syntec and change at 10k mile intervals. I have some free Mobil 1 5w-30 that is not VW recommended. What if any difference would it make? If I change my oil at 5k miles can I use any brand synthetic motor oil between 0w-40 or 5/10w-30/40 with no negative results on my 2007 2.0t FSI engine?
Also is the european spec motor oil much better than the U.S. spec. I read the US full synthetic is not according to European standards. Thank you

Is it alright to use 4 quarts of 5w-30 and 1 quart of 5w-20 oil in my car? The car is a 2004 Subaru Legacy and the oil is Castrol Syntec Blend. The car only takes 4.7 quarts of oil, so really I’d only be using .7 quarts of the 5w-20.

i live in texas and have a 94 honda civic ex with 207379 miles. i use it as a daily driver and more than sometimes have fast accelerations. its almost time for an oil change and i wanted to know whats the best suitable oil for my car. not sure what brand is in the car right now, just that it’s 10w-30 and conventional. i want to switch to a full synthetic. should i stick with 10w-30 or go with 5w-30?
should a get a high mileage formula? What about castrol edge? or mobil 1 extended performance?

This was a school project to make a trailer/commercial of the best motor oil on the market.We kind of made a spoof of the ShamWOW commercial because we used the ShamWOW as an example. WE understand Castrol Syntec is not the best, but it was all we could find. Amsoil ATM actually led in 7 out of the 8 tests ran.
