I’ve always used Mobil1. You can buy it almost anywhere. I have only found Amsoil at a local mom and pop shop. They don’t advertise on TV, they don’t sell it in any major retail stores, so that leads me to believe it’s bs. I’ve heard it’s too expensive to sell in mass production to stores, but think about that…. That’s bs too. If it’s really all that great and it’s the #1 synthetic oil in the world, you could sell it for a high price and people would buy it anyway.

This would normally result in losing over 0 in oil to replace a plug. If this has happened to you, the shop-vac method will save the day. With the engine off, hook the shop-vac hose to the oil fill tube, turn the shop vac on, and the oil plug can easily be removed without losing a single drop of oil! It is that simple and will work with all makes/models of trucks and cars. You don’t have to be fast when changing the plug, you can see how he puts his hand up against the oil pan to show the amount of suction the vacuum is pulling.
