After leaving Istanbul, Turkey, two members of the GlobeRiders Silk Road Adventure 2011 team, Pawel Chrobok and John Oates, found themselves with bikes with too much oil in the engine. What to do next? The logic would be to wait for the engine to cool, remove the engine protection plate and drain appropriate amount of oil by removing the oil drain plug. However this would have taken quite some time and the guys were running our of time. For that reason they chose the rather unconventional way of dumping the extra engine oil.

It’s been a couple months since I’ve done the oil change on the jeep and I figured me and the kids need to do it

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to clean and lube your motorcycle chain. I know there are a few different ways, and my moto jargon is probably not perfect, but this is pretty basic and something everyone should know how to do. It the easiest way to get the longest life out of your chain and sprocket. You should lube it every 300-500 miles, and do a full clean and lube such as I am doing here every 3000 miles, but my chain is starting to get old and kinked, so I do it anytime it seems dirty or dry. Song: You’re Not Alone by Paul Oakenfold

Hi-Tach Oil Stabilizer is a semi-synthetic petroleum product that uses state of the art nano technology viscosity improvers and lubricity enhancer. It can also prevent dry starts, and no one likes a dry start. You can improve, extend and protect the life of your engine by adding Hi-Tach.

This is my 2008 Scion xB. It took me a while before I finally got the video, but here it is. The modifications are listed below, in the tags area. This car is only just begun. The TRD shocks, struts, and springs are now installed, and the video is up. Hotchkis sway bars and the TRD strut brace will be following shortly after. Videos will go up as the car goes along. Thanks for watching! I use Valvoline 0W-20 full synthetic oil with a bottle of synthetic Lucas Oil Stabalizer and a K&N oil filter every time I change my oil at 3000 miles. This car is very well taken care of and I encourage you all to do the same. Not use the same oil, just take care of your vehicle. It’s a huge investment. *FUTURE MODIFICATIONS*!!!!! Hotchkis sport sway bar kit, TRD strut tower brace, Injen Technology CAI, TRD Quick Shifter, and possibly a carbon fiber engine cover. Stay tuned for more future upgrades!!! *NOTICE* All brands including, but not limited to: Scion, TRD, Hotchkis, Valvoline, Lucas, K&N, Injen Technology, Eagle Eyes, Konig, Kumho, Borla, Dynomax, Pioneer, Sony, and OBX are all registered trademarks and no harm was intended by the mentioning of these respected brands in these descriptions.
