My question is, would a 10w30 synthetic flow better than 5w30 or 10w30 conventional? Would it flow better hot AND cold or just hot? Since 5w-30 tends to be better for cold starts.
This is comparison between synthetic and conventional. Let me know and possible sources if you have them. Thanks!
Lets focus more on the flow capability between 5w30 conventional oil and 10w30 synthetic. Which would FLOW better cold? Meaning temps around 25-35* F.
PowerTV dyno tested Corvette C5 using ENEOS oil and the “Leading SyntheticOil.” ENEOS outperformed the “Leading Synthetic” by making extra 8 horsepower. www.lsxtv.com
Looking at all the many syntheticmotor oil brands, their weights, viscosity, and so on, which one or ones are truly 100% pure synthetic as opposed to the cheaper mixed ones? I’m trying to get the best performance out of my bike while at the same time looking after the engine and getting good miles per gallon.
I’m interested in switching to syntheticmotor oil & wanted to know if anyone knows about Amsoil. I’ve heard it’s good & checked out the website, but wanted to know if anyone has their own opinion of it to share. Thanks.
Due to the new Ultra Low Sulfer Diesel, I want to protect my cummins diesel from premature wear. What brand is the best additive to add to the fuel to help keep the motor lubricated?
My CBR1000F is due for an oil change, so I’m wondering what the best synthetic oil is to use? Now I’m running Castrol R4 Superbike, and that seems to be working fine. I’m also running that in my 450R quad, and it’s worked well. I’ve also heard many good things about that oil. I’m just wondering if there’s anything better to use? I do want to use full synthetic, and I paid about per quart or liter or what ever for that, and don’t really want to spend much more than that!
I need an oil change, and there’s a car wash by me that does oil changes/tire rotations etc. except it’s Quaker State. Is that a good brand, like the synthetic is just as good as Mobil 1?
